The Building is Coming Together

Construction has progressed a lot since our last update, and while there have been some delays due to inclement weather, overall progress still remains on track. In this blog post, we’ll provide an update on where we are in the construction process. Let’s take a look at how far along things are today!

Framing is Almost Complete

As the construction crew finishes up the framing of the 5th and final floor, the major bones of the structure are in place. The next critical stage – drying in – is just around the corner. This involves getting the last of the windows and doors installed as well as the high-temperature ice and water shield installed on the roof. Once this is accomplished, all of the subcontractors can begin their work. But for now, it’s time to appreciate the impressive progress that’s been made so far. Anyone passing by can’t help but stop and admire the skeleton of the building that’s emerged from the ground and imagine all the possibilities that await when it’s finally complete.

Major Mechanical Systems

Some of the subcontractors have already begun their work on the interior of the building. Fire suppression, plumbing rough-in, electrical rough-in, and HVAC rough-in are all underway. As each is connected, the building takes a more complete shape and inches closer to being finished. Each day there’s something new and exciting to discover as the building gets closer to completion.

In conclusion, the building is coming together very nicely. Although we had a few delays due to inclement weather, overall progress has been great.
